How to Use the Lay-Z-Spa® Vinyl Repair Kit

  1. Prepare the Area:

    • Clean the damaged area thoroughly. Ensure it is dry and free from dirt, oil, and any other debris.
    • Deflate the inflatable to avoid air bubbles during the repair.
  2. Cut the Patch:

    • Select an appropriate patch size from the provided options: 40mm, 70mm, or 100mm diameter circular patches, or the 15cm x 10cm repair strip.
    • Cut the patch to a size slightly larger than the puncture for a secure repair.
  3. Apply the Glue:

    • Apply a thin, even layer of the provided 60ml glue to both the patch and the damaged area.
  4. Attach the Patch:

    • Press the patch firmly over the puncture. Use the application tool to smooth out any air bubbles and ensure a tight seal.
  5. Allow to Cure:

    • Let the glue dry completely. Refer to the glue's instructions for specific drying times, but generally, it is recommended to wait at least 24 hours before re-inflating the pool or hot tub.

  • Inflatable Hot Tubs: Specifically designed for use on Lay-Z-Spa and other inflatable hot tubs.
  • Above Ground Swimming Pools: Suitable for repairing PVC inflatable swimming pools.

When to Apply the Lay-Z-Spa® Vinyl Repair Kit

  • Immediate Repair: As soon as a puncture or tear is identified, apply the repair kit to prevent further damage and avoid water leakage.
  • Dry Conditions: Ensure the surface is completely dry before application for the best adhesion.
  • Warm Conditions: For optimal results, apply the repair kit in a warm environment to ensure the glue sets properly.

Cautions

  • Ventilation: Use the repair kit in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes from the glue.
  • Avoid Contact: Prevent the glue from coming into contact with your skin and eyes. Wear gloves if necessary.
  • Flammability: Keep the glue away from open flames and sources of ignition as it is flammable.
  • Child Safety: Keep the repair kit and all components out of reach of children.
  • Test Patch: Consider testing the patch on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility and adhesion.
  • Read Instructions: Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines included with the repair kit.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
