Vitax Medo 200g Ideal for protecting your shrubs and trees after pruning, Medo is a ready to use sealant that protects them from bacterial and fungal infection after cutting. Medo forms an elasticated and waterproof skin over the cut to help heal and prevent further damage to your tree or shrub.
Medo protects open wounds that have been caused by pruning, accidental damage or grafting from parasites.
Forming an elastic waterproof skin with protectant, it helps to shield the wound to enable Medo’s healing properties to take hold.

How to Use:

  1. Prepare the Area: Clean the wound area by removing any loose bark or debris. Ensure the surface is dry and free from dirt.
  2. Apply Medo: Using a brush or spatula, apply a generous layer of Vitax Medo directly onto the wound, covering it completely.
  3. Spread Evenly: Smooth out the sealant to form an even layer, ensuring all edges of the wound are sealed.
  4. Allow to Dry: Let the sealant dry and form a protective skin. This may take a few hours depending on weather conditions.

Where to Use:

  • On pruning cuts of trees and shrubs.
  • On grafting sites to ensure successful grafts.
  • On accidental damage to trees and shrubs, such as from storms or garden maintenance.

When to Apply:

  • Immediately after pruning to protect fresh cuts.
  • As soon as possible after accidental damage occurs.
  • During grafting to protect the graft union.

Cautions:

  • For external use only. Do not ingest.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Use protective gloves and clothing when handling to avoid skin contact.
